New Optical Scanning Machines

For all elections, voters will be using the new optical scanning machines.  These new machines have replaced the lever machines.

After checking in, each voter will receive a paper ballot and proceed to a privacy booth where the elector will fill in the red ovals adjacent to the candidates of their choice.  This paper ballot will then be put into a scanner for tabulating.  This system will give a paper trail for recounts and audits. There will be a demonstrator table at each of the polling places to assist people in using this new system.
