Avon Senior Center
Living Memorial Garden Dedication

A garden was designed and planted at the Avon Senior Center in collaboration with the Connecticut Master Gardener Association and the Town of Avon with the purpose of honoring the memories of past Avon residents. An individual or organization did make a donation to the garden as a lasting tribute in the name of a loved one, colleague or friend,
The following pictures are of the dedication program held at the Senior Center.
The Senior Citizens of Avon provided a wonderful luncheon. As you can see from the pictures everyone enjoyed the day. We had the Fabulous Four String Quartet provide music out by the garden before the cutting of the ribbon, which was performed by Richard Hines, Chairman of the Town Council.
